British Lion Announce support for 2022 European Tour Dates (Updated – Prague Cancellation)

The band will be undertaking a nine date European headline club tour in Summer 2022, in addition to the three festival shows already announced for Finland, England and Belgium, working in conjunction with the routing for Maiden’s 2022 Legacy Of The Beast tour. Due to unforeseen circumstances outside of the bands control, the show on June 19 at the Lucerna Theatre in Prague will be cancelled. Ticket refunds can be requested at point of purchase. We would like to offer fans the opportunity to attend another show on the tour at no additional ticket cost. As the band hasn’t performed a headline tour in the UK since 2019, these dates will be the first opportunity for fans to see them playing tracks from their second album The Burning released by Warner Music (and by Explorer1 Music in the US) in January 2020, including Bible Black for which a new video was released in 2021.

British Lion withdraw from UK tour with The Darkness

Due to circumstances beyond our control British Lion are really sad and disappointed to announce that we will not be able to participate in the tour with The Darkness. Very recently we received their own protocols that are not Government protocols which are completely unacceptable to us. Therefore, we have no alternative but to withdraw from the tour.

British Lion unleash video for Land of the Perfect People

Taken from their 2020 album The Burning, the song’s lyrics were written by vocalist Richard Taylor who comments, “It’s about abandonment and issues from being brought up in a children’s home.”
